Each client has a room administrator. It is an independent managing configuration that controls all videoconference tools and users, making events and meetings planning easier in the calendar.

The administrator has different functions such as:

  • Initiate events
  • Send invitations with access password
  • Choose the type of conference: manager/free
  • Manage users’ contact list: inscription or cancellation of a user.
  • Determine guests access: private/public
  • Manage recorded sessions
  • Give title to events
  • Upload videos and presentations for a deferred viewing.
  • Access to different statistics: classified by event, by participant, by manager...

Room modalities

Toomeeting videoconference offers two types of room:

  • Managed room: there is a manager who is in charge of the participants, controlling their participation.
  • Room with free access: all the participants of a same room have the same rights and can use all the different tools as much as they need.

Manager functions

  • Give permission to speak to the participants
  • Give permission to use the whiteboard
  • Activate and deactivate Users webcams
  • Activate private chat with participants
  • Activate and deactivate Public chat
  • Eject a participant
  • Take control of tools by prior agreement
  • Record videoconferencing sessions
